Meaningless rhetoric about Iranian greatness

I am surprised at the call of the supreme leader Seyyed Kamenei regarding the need for advanced technology and the meaningless rhetoric about Iranian greatness.  We just witnessed a horrible disaster in the southeast of Iran where all the homes were destroyed as a result of the recent earthquake.  In fact, every time there is an earthquake homes and structures of the affected areas are leveled to the ground.  The source of my surprise is that similar earthquakes occur in different parts of the world.  In the truly scientifically advanced countries, unlike the wishfully thinking Iran, homes and structures remain standing and they don't suffer damage.  I am just wondering if the Iranian Engineers are aware of the advanced designs that allow buildings to survive earthquake disasters, thus sparing the lives and shelters of many people.  The last few years clearly proves that this is not the case and that the Engineers of Iran still have a lot to learn and practise before they can truly execute a sound design that will help the poor Iranians.  It is perhaps time to put more effort into real work and learn from dedicated Engineers in the truly adavnced nations than the empty nonesense talk about the greatness of the Iranian nation.  What is so great about a nation that does not make use of available means to ensure the survival of its people?
